Twenty Hundred Club Race to BI. Race out Saturday and party by the Oar after race. Beach day Sunday, race back Monday.We’ll start by Rose Island – Spinnaker A Warning 1045, Start 1050 . Racing with PHRF sails (145% jib and 120 square meter spinnaker) – PHRF 63 and a 10 second per mile penalty
2019 Notes: Current more favorable away from BI at start, then head directly towards RI shore where adverse current in RI Sound will be better (max flood ~ 1200), adverse current into Newport is better on Castle Hill side (max ebb ~1500)

We will be at BI Boat Basin. Remember to bring your reusable water bottle – I will have gallon water containers for refills.
Saturday:
- Lunch – TBD please bring sandwiches for the race out. I’ll have bottled water on the boat
- Dinner – Bill has 5 meal tickets for the Twenty Hundred Club BBQ at BI Boat Basin. This is hot dogs, hamburgers, salads, and assorted beverages
Sunday:
- Breakfast – I will have the percolator on the boat. If breakfast is desired eat buffet style at the Narragansett on the hill between the Oar and Payne’s
- Lunch/Munchies – There will be some chips, dips, cheese, pepperoni, etc. that I will have on the boat for the beach party. People please bring stuff to contribute to the beach party munchies and any soft sided coolers you have to stage with food and ice.
- Dinner – we’ll grab something in town as part of the ongoing party, dancing, etc.
Monday:
- Breakfast – I will have the percolator on the boat. If breakfast is desired eat buffet style at the Narragansett on the hill between the Oar and Payne’s
- Lunch – TBD please bring something like Wraps with cold cuts we can put in the reefer.
In addition I’ll have trail mix, granola bars, some fruit, chips, and crackers for munching.

Thank you for a great time. That hour penelty seems steep. If you look at yellow brick there were a few other boats in our class that were just inside that south east dot. Not sure how picky they were being.
Either way great work by everyone. Enjoy the party.
Bill went to the protest hearing about our sailing in the exclusion zone to fix the spinnaker. The results of the protest was the RC added 1 hour to our corrected time. This put us in 2nd place for the youth entries. We would have had 1st in youth if not for this. Hope to see you all at the awards ceremony!
Updated boat call time is 10am this morning. Those needing ride on base meet 0945 pass & ID parking lot.
