Please Set Availability for 2023 Vento Solare Schedule

• Set availability for 2023 Events at this link by 30 December (choose 2023 in year dropdown & the Crew Radio button)
• Update Personal Profile with weight for OD events, World Sailing ID  & Classification, and Clothing Size on the J/109 Vento Solare website – mouse over Crew and click on Edit my Profile. I plan on buying crew gear this winter for those who participate in events.

The Details:

This message is being sent to a select group with the 2023 schedule before it is blasted to a wider group.  I would like you to please look at the J/109 Vento Solare 2023 schedule and set your availability for events.  Please indicate yes, no or maybe so I don’t need to follow up after the fact.  This is easiest done logging in to the J/109 Vento Solare site, from the Crew menu select Availability and once the page opens select 2023 for the year.

Tip for 2023: The links in this email are formatted in the groups shown below to pre-filter the list making it easier to set availability for the various event groups all at once! You may also use the category & tag dropdowns to filter the schedule as desired.

There is a text field next to the Availability dropdown where you may submit a comment if desired. Please set your availability (yes, no or maybe) no later than Friday 30 December.  Once the inputs are received, I’ll make a determination which events are definite, make crew assignments and blast an email to a wider audience to fill gaps. Note that the schedule may be adjusted if we can’t get enough crew for certain events.

I’m assuming a full schedule with the pandemic behind us, but time will tell. Many of the events are the same as past years.  Vento Solare is already registered for Block Island Race Week with slip and house reservations made!
