Vento Solare was launched at Borden Light Marina on the afternoon of 12 April. The boat will remain at Borden Light for the next week as some last minute work is done before bringing the boat to its slip at the Navy Marina. I want to thank all those who helped get the tasks done so we could launch. The following people helped out this spring: Cheryl & Mike Marrone, Gardner Howe, Roland Hansen, Julija O'Connor, Eric Irwin, May Martin, and Pat Tormey.
Delivery to Newport Planned 18-22 April: I will look for a nice weather window the week of 18-22 April and let everyone know the day before on the day we'll sail the boat from Borden Light to the Navy Marina. Anyone is welcome to join and we'll coordinate car logistics.
Looking forward to a normal sailing season this year!
