Stuff Bill is Bringing: I plan on bringing the following not normally on the boat – Bow cushions, Cocktail table, boom tent, extra dock lines, shore power cable, 5 gallon containers drinking water, coffee and tea pot with coffee, sugar & hot cider packets

Friday 13 Sept
Coordinate to leave a car at Navy base and drive a car with crew to Noank Shipyard to meet boat.
0755 – Entire crew meet boat on dock at Noank Shipyard no later than 0755. Everyone be at boat no later than 0755 so we can load gear, stow food and rig boat.
0830 – Underway to New London Ledge starting area (~ 5 miles)
0930 – Check in at Committee Boat and get course assignment
0955 Warning signal for 1st class to start
Noonish – lunch
After race – Boat will be tied up at Mitchell Park Marina, Greenport
Post race party at Towson Manner
1930 – Dinner in town

Fantastic weather for a spin run up the bay, followed by dinner at the Boathouse with Lisa, Francis, Pat, Cindy & Bill. The boat is all set for the race Saturday.

A fun evening sharing a table with Eric, Mary, Chris, Maggie, Francis, Lisa, Bill & Cindy. Mary was recognized with a US Sailing award as a JYC member for her communications role on J/122 Alliance in the Bermuda Race. Maggie accepted the J/122 Leading Edge third place fall series award for Tom and Diana. The picture below shows Bill & Cindy with the 1st place spring series award for J/109 Vento Solare.
