Bill has reservation at the Doubletree Norwalk Thurs night through checkout Sunday morning.  Bill has social tickets for the entire crew.
 
Note that parking is allowed for only 1 car at Cedar Point YC . 
 

J/109 OD Event – East Coast Regatta Series (Class Rule 6.1 Crew Limit 7)

Schedule of Events, ODR
Friday

  • Crew Practice sail underway 1430
  • Registration open 1500

Saturday

  • 7:30-9:00- "Coffee with North"- Join us under the pavilion for a cup of coffee and light
    morning snack to get your day going.
  • 8:45-9:00- "Tip of the Day and Weather Briefing with North"- The North Sails Team will share
    a few tips for the day, give a general weather briefing and provide the CPYC OD organizers an
    informal platform to share information with those gathered
  • First warning at 1030
  • After racing PARTY & DINNER
  • Open Bar, Beer, Wine
  • Wood fired pizza, salad, gelato, expresso and cappuccino
  • Caribbean Vibe Steel Drum band

Sunday

  • 7:30-9:00- "Coffee with North"- Join us under the pavilion for a cup of coffee and light
    morning snack to get your day going.
  • 8:45-9:00- "Tip of the Day and Weather Briefing with North"- The North Sails Team will share

  • Trophy presentation to follow after racing.

TO BOOK A ROOM AT THE DOUBLE TREE HOTEL FOR THE EVENT:
The One Design Regatta room block has been loaded and is available for booking until
the cutoff date of 5/4/2022 or the block has been filled, whichever occurs first. As of 5/2/2021 your block
will be closed and any rooms that have not been reserved will be released.
To book online follow these steps:

  • Go to: www.norwalk.doubletree.com
  • Enter your check in & check out dates, click Go
  • Click on Add Special Rate codes and enter Group Code: ONE
  • Continue to follow prompts to complete reservation & record your confirmation number.
  • Reservations can also be made by calling (800) 492-7148 and requesting the group One Design Regatta
