Breakwater YC members are providing guest rooms for crew!

This is  the 2nd of 3 events in the J/109 East Coast Regatta Series

We are hoping for a great turnout for the two day J109 regatta Breakwater Yacht Club will host on July 15/16, 2023 in Sag Harbor as part of the Sag Harbor Cup.  It’s a great location for racing and we can usually promise a nice seabreeze, even in July.  Here are the key details:

• Dates:  Saturday/Sunday July 15/16, 2023
• Cost:  $150 per boat, which covers entry fee, plus tickets to the Saturday and Sunday parties for the entire crew
• Mooring/Dockage:  Breakwater can offer a limited number of free or low cost moorings and dock spaces for travelers.  Additional transient moorings will be available from Sag Harbor Yacht Yard and Sag Harbor Moorings
• Housing: We are working with several local establishments to see if we can get some guaranteed space and discounted prices.  More to come on this topic.
• Format:  WL courses similar to AYC and Block; target of 3-4  races per day

• 1200 First Warning Signal (Windward – Leeward races)
• 1900-2200 SHNSY Talk of the Town Crew Party and dinner will be held at Safe
  Harbor Newport Shipyard in the heart of downtown Newport featuring live music and local
  crew favorite fare.

Sunday

• 1200 First Warning Signal (Windward – Leeward races)
• 1700 Prize-Giving at Newport Shipyard
