Twenty Hundred Club Race to Block Island

Those needing a ride on base please meet 8:45 am at the Pass & ID parking lot to be driven on base. If you arrive a few minutes early call Bill so I can meet you to on the causeway to drive on base

Start @ 1030 by G"3″ Southeast of Rose Island

Buy tickets for the BBQ – Bill has tickets for all

Logistics Information

  • Staying on a mooring – will hail launch when we need a ride ashore
  • Bring a towel & sleeping bag or blanket if staying on the boat
  • Sue bringing lunches Saturday for all on the boat
  • We'll eat dinners & breakfast ashore (some yogurt & granola will be on the boat)
  • We'll have some snacks and appetizer stuff
  • Bill will have the blender and appropriate ingredients
  • Cooler will be on the boat for beverages – seltzer & beer
  • Beach day Sunday – party with other crews

    A great race out to Block Island that worked as a training event for Lukas & Kevin.  Great results with a 2nd in Spinnaker A class. Thanks to Sue for helping with the training, both to BI and the return trip Sunday (a day early due to pending high winds & rain).
