This message is to let everyone know that I will have a familiarization sail on J/109 Vento Solare Wednesday 30 July. Boat call time is 5pm for all but Pia and Elena. The boat is located in slip A-49 at the Navy Marina. I know that the Richards have base access for the family.

Elena & Pia please meet 4pm at the Navy Base Pass & ID parking lot 1377 Cloyne Ct, Newport, RI 02840. This is on the right just before the causeway by the main gate. Someone will drive people without access on base.

Sarah & Coop please meet 4:30pm at the Navy Base Pass & ID parking lot and Peter will get you on base.

We will have a quick boat familiarization for Elena & Pia at the dock. Everyone else will join and we will go out and run through some evolutions upwind with the jib and downwind with the spinnaker. For this practice we will not rig jacklines, but I do expect all to wear PFDs.
